Default COP, 99 Head, 01 OEM Header and Stuffs

Rebuild is done and here are some leftovers for ya !

So before we start, shipping heavy parts is EXPENSIVE for someone living in the sticks. I don't wanna and you don't wanna so the Head and the Header should be a pick-up thing. I'm located at 26726 and for some gas and drink money, I'll drive an hour or so to meet you if you want the heavy stuff. The last time I went through pricing shipping hoops for folks only to have them realize that they didn't want to pay for shipping so we're skipping that step here. LOL

COP's were working fine when removed last year. $120 shipped

OEM 99 COIL PACK with very pretty NGK blue wires: $100 shipped

A sandblasted INSIDE ( yes this is bad ) and out OIL PAN for an NB with a oil drain-back fitting tapped into the side for $35 plus shipping.. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! Could make a nice sink though. LOL

A 99 Head with 108K on it. Was on the car running when the connecting rod broke bending valves on the number 2 cylinder. The head is fine but you will need valves. It comes with cams and a valve cover. $250.

01 Header and Shield: $50

Thanks,
Ken

Would COP be plug and play on a '2000? Does it have any real advantage over the coils, other than possible reliability? We are talking normally aspirated car in my case. Any changes needed to MS2 to drive them?

Default COP thoughts

Well if you ask 3 people, you'll get 3 answers. Are they plug and play? no

Are they an advantage?
This is debatable but I'm goung to say yes.

The advantages are realized when an aftermarket ECU can be used to remove the wasted spark design and fire 4 coils, one at a time, at the proper time. The 2000 by virtue of its design fires its 2 coils twice as many times. This tends to master more as RPMS get higher.

My two cents.

Coils are tempting. Whats the history? Used for how long? New Coils?

I purchased the kit about 3 years ago when i installed the turbo kit. they have about 3,000 miles on them in my car. While I purchased the kit new, the kit had used coils based on their markings.
