Default Built engine for sale

HI

I have this built engine that I had planned to use in the future but my 04 Miata needs a million things before the built engine, so Im going to sell the engine and build one a year or so from now. Anyway here is the engine:

JE Forged Pistons
Crower Rods
Block has been checked, machined.
Crankshaft been checked, machined and balanced to 10k rpm.
Includes new water pump.
Oil pump has mazdaspeed gears.
No oil pan.

I will include a 94 head with a mild port and polish also.Completely assembled. The head needs work thought, I bought it this way but Im would keep on polishing it if it were going in my car.Head comes with distributor.

1200 Shipped CONUS via PayPal.

Thanks for looking, questions welcome, Roger

I've pm'd him a couple times. This was on Craigslist last week too. Emailed the 1st owner from that ad. Have not gotten any responses yet from the CL ad, I guess Rogezues picked it up.

I've got the money, the need and the desire.

Rogezues - I want your motor pending some basics about what it is and the build!

Rogezues,

Any more info on the build or a more complete list of new parts that went into it? Did it come with a stack of receipts?

Anything new in the head? Valves, seals, springs, etc. I know that's not the main part of the sale but it'd be nice to know what i'd be getting.

Hey guys:

As I replied to Cueball in the pm, this is not an engine that I built, as was planning on using this engine for myself, but money is tight here and I just spent 680 just in rims and tires and my Miata many things even before this. Im completing a DiY turbo kit right now and I just picked a Voodoo box from a fellow member here.

With that in mind:

I will do my best to answer all the questions you may have. The builder told me he though the compression was 9:1, that the bearings were new, everything in the bottom end was ready to go. Consider the head a gift from me, the head is in perfect condition, could use a clean up, I dont see any new parts(but Im not an expert in heads) and the Port and Polish job could be fine finished. Im including UPS Ground shipping in the price. No oil pan is included. No valve cover is included. Distributor is included though. Dont be afraid to ask me anything, at the last minute I will take out my torque wrench and start disassembling everything.

Motor is still available for grabs, please add 3% for Paypal fee.

Roger

If there's rust on the top and pulleys, how did rust on the walls get prevented?

Dibs if the previous 2 fall through.

How will you protect the exposed crankshaft and top during shipping?

What's the "distributor"? The cam angle sensor?

Hey jason:

Yes, the cam angle sensor, sorry. lol

Some more info on the engine:

The JE pistons say 83m on the back, all JE pistons for the miata are 9:1 CR.

The rods say Crower H on the studs, they should be H beams.

If this gets complicated, I have my wrenches ready to start disassembling until the last screw.

Shipping:
I will use a bucket with lots of foam at the bottom, I already had a guy ship me once a honda engine like that, head in a different box. Roger
