BP engine block
My old BP engine block that I need out of my garage. Local pickup only
Block was hot tanked, decked, and bored to 83.5mm with brass freeze plugs.
It includes a new oil pressure sender and the oil cooler. Block originally came out of a 91 Escort GT.
I ran it for approx 700miles but something happened to the oil ring in Cyl #2 and it wore a groove in the cylinder wall. Block must be bored to 84mm to be usable again.
$100 OBO
Not interested in shipping.

Since the block is from an EGT it just has a copper washer/bolt plugging the oil and water ports, oil squirters and main caps are still in it, and the main bores are still stock/untouched.

As far as I know, all FWD BP block have the ports, they are just blocked with a bolt unless it was a 323 GTX or GTR import.
Just wondering, but do you guys know about the B8 crankshaft? It's a bolt in and IIRC it weighs about 8lbs less than the standard BP crank. I ran it in this engine with a fidanza flywheel and loved it.

I wish I would have seen this post earlier, I just drove back from New Mexico to Socal. I might be able to head back that way next weekend if you still have it. I will send you a pm and let you know.
