Default Borg Warner EFR 6758 0.85A/R vBand with TurboSmart IWG75 Dual Port Actuator

This lived on my Fab9-kitted 2009 NC for about two years, making between 15 and 21 pounds of boost for approximately two years and about 18k miles. A sudden loss of solenoid function resulted in ALLOFIT for about half a second during a rolling 2nd gear burnout, which resulted in Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly of cylinder 1 all over Beale Street in Memphis TN. The turbo made it just fine, but the new motor is bigger, badder and better and will be force-fed through a 7163 instead.

Oil and filter was changed religiously with Mobile 1 10w30, I also made use of the water cooling ports so there's one pair of coolant ports open on the CHRA. I originally thought maybe I'd cooked the IWG75 which resulted in ALLOFIT, so I purchased a replacement unit with my new 7163. Later I found out it was the MAC quad-port solenoid that went stupid, not the gate actuator, but I only figured it out long after my return period expired for my new IWG75. Soooo, I'm including the BW EFR original 3-port solenoid it came with (which worked fine for a year before I upgraded to the 4-port MAC) and I've plumbed in the dual-port IWG for whoever gets it next.

There's zero shaft play in any direction, it spins freely, there is no fin damage or even so much as missing carbon on the hotside, and it made 15 pounds of beewwwst by 3650rpm on my completely factory-stock NC engine and ECU. It ought to serve someone very well for many years to come. Full Race wants ~$2200 for this turbo brand new, and another $180 for the IWG75 twin port. Asking $1500 shipped anywhere to the lower 48 for the turbo and IWG75 as-pictured. The IWG75 comes with a 7psi "inner" spring installed, and I'll also toss the "outer" 7psi spring into the box too. If you want the factory EFR "middle boost" OE actuator can (19psi I think) I'll happily toss it in the box too.

If you want additional pictures, let me know and I'll post up.

Well, ****. It appears Full Race is really not a good barometer of current pricing for EFR's... Looks like TCS Automotive will sell you the same EFR for basically $1550 new (albeit minus the IWG75, but whatever...) I'm knocking the price down to $1200 which includes shipping anywhere to the lower 48. I'll still drop the 2nd 7psi spring in the box, and if you want it I'll still toss the stock middle-boost (19psi) actuator in the box too.

Sucks for me, but the pricing obviously has to be reasonable or ain't nobody gonna buy it.

Ha! Man, I had long since forgotten about this.

Turns out, I still have this wrapped up in the BW 7163 box up in my garage storage and was saving it tentatively for another turbo project I'm helping with on the side. If you're actually interested in buying it, let me know.

Is that the right way to route the lines to the boost controller?
Other set ups online seems to differ.
