Default Adaptronic e420c $400 shipped.

I'm selling my Adaptronic e420c ECU. $400 shipped in the contiguous US.
I'll find a list of features -- they're no longer on Adaptronic's website.

Why am I selling? Because that's what I do. I put all the ECUs in my Miata.
First I had a TecIII: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-parts-sale-trade-5/fs-tec3-engine-management-kit-vishnu-kit-m2-5491/
Then I had a Hydra: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-parts-sale-trade-5/hydra-nemesis-2-17-wideband-o2-sensor-39367/
Then I had this Adaptronic.
Now I have a Megasquirt.

Pictures available if you really think that's useful.

I'll even throw in my home built custom parallel harness for free.

Shipping included for continental US only.

You want this smokin deal.

DISCLAIMER: I'm waiting on some clarification from Adaptronic regarding the trade-in deal.

I made my harness for a 2001. It's not the prettiest harness (hence why it's free).

If you were adventurous you could build your own harness for a 99 or whatever or buy the $300 plug-in harness from Boundary Engineering but if you're going to do that... you might as well upgrade.

What a great deal, Seriously.
I only have 1 question for ya y8s. Out of all the ECU's you've had, which one did you like the most and why?

If the 440 can control 8 injectors (4 main, 4 aux), I have a buyer for you. PM me.

but seriously, I was still learning to use the Adaptronic and there were things I didn't realize about it until after it was off the car and replaced with the MS. It's got a lot going for it in terms of dialing in specific things like idle and enrichment strategies.

As I mentioned in email, it can do staged injection using 4 batch + 4 batch with two sets of differently sized injectors.

Ok so Adaprtonic is not offering an upgrade for 300. This is happening on a case by case basis with new never installed units. I emailed Adaprtonic and was informed of this information.

This is an incredible price for the ECU regardless. I just paid way more for one myself!

First off, I may have misunderstood Andy's email--I just sent him a message asking for clarification. If it's a $300 credit towards a 440, then that's a big difference from what I thought he meant!

Second, I understand you sent me two PMs about buying my unit after you had already offered someone else money for theirs a while ago. I guess you're no longer interested?

Matt

i emailed adaptronic today about the e420c swap deal and ........the way i interpreted deal was that when you send the old e420c ecu in you get a $300 store credit not a 300 swap over price email is below?

Hi Joel,

The deal is that it's a $300 trade-in price, so if you send in your e420c
you get $300 AUD off a Select ECU.

Basically it's just a goodwill gesture to existing people that want to
upgrade; obviously I can't do anything with the used ECU other than keep it
as a possible exchange unit for one that has been damaged beyond repair.

In your case I'd recommend the NBB Select ECU though, not the 440 - unless
you want to do a lot of wiring!

Thanks
Andy

I had a deal lined up with another member for a bit more money and the wrong harness. The seller had additional buyers ready so I'd be an idiot to not explore options when they pop up. The seller was also under the impression that your ecu was sold so I moved forward with the other sale. Paying way more for the same ECU.

OK so Andy clarified that it's a trade-in price.

I guess that means I'm just selling the e420c! I will update the ad.

I was originally selling my adaptronic, after starting fresh my 420c and figuring out few things such as the 99-00 NB harness having few crossed wires it is now running like a boss. Would still sell my unit if the asking price is met since i want to see what all the MS hype is all about but if not then i'm keeping it.

If you spend the time and understand the 420c it's good stuff.

The 440 is also nice however some of the nice blings are now gone, No more screen output..., 8 injectors are also nice however the use of 8 injectors or bajilion auxs is not within most of ours goals.

Long story short, if you have a NBB buy this ****, this is a too good of a deal to miss ^
