99-00 TDR/Moss MP62 hotside s/c kit w/rebuilt & ported unit
I have decided to put my TDR/Moss MP62 supercharger kit up for sale with a fresh rebuilt($682.69 w/ parts & labor) & ported($199) (also had brackets powder coated-$85- by Jon Bond Performance-https://jonbondperformance.com/ - and 0 miles) MP62 unit. I bought this setup on 02-17-14 from cheezitnation697 on miataturbo.net for $2,060 with less than 6k miles on it and was told the only thing it needed was the two longer exhaust studs.
The setup was received and was just as described and in April I sent it to Jon Bond Performance to be ported , although Jon told me he didn't normally port units he hadn't rebuilt due to liability issues but after sending him pictures of the rotors and seeing their like new condition, he agreed to port it. Sadly it turned out to have a failing bearing so I told him to go ahead and rebuild it.
The setup is for a 99-00 but could be used on any 1.8 Miata(dummy throttle is different for NA and NB though) but I sold the power card that's came with it as well as the TDR tensioner since I was going to buy their redesigned tensioner but includes a intercooler that sat where the original intake tube resided. It will also includea used TDR 150mm crank pulley that with the stock s/c 77.5mm pulley should yield 10-12psi and a blower speed of 13,968 RPM @ 7200 RPM so you still can get a smaller s/c pulley-62.5mm would be the smallest you would want to use with the 150mm crank pulley- since the units max recommended rpm is just under 17,500 rpm.
Here is a break down of what I have in the setup:
TDR/Moss MP62 hotside s/c: $2060
sold the TDR tensioner: -$93
sold the Power cards: -$259
used TDR 150mm pulley: +$110
rebuilt/ported by JBP: +$966.69

*****Disclaimer: I have NOT installed this kit therefore I CANNOT guarantee every fitting is present, however to the best of my knowledge the major items are present minus the tensioner(any p/s, a/c configuration can be purchased thru Track Dog Racing), 2x exhaust studs(which I will try to get) and engine management, which if you have a 96-97 and want to do a package deal for a MS Labs MS3 basic($860 since it was used a few months, $980 new) then that can be arranged. This will fit any 1.8 engine but it was a 99-00 kit so the dummy TB is different as far as a sensor(?) which won't matter unless using a factory ecu, otherwise it is the same footprint and I have test fitted on a spare NA8 intake manifold. PLEASE educate yourself on these kits before hand, so no misunderstanding occur.

Freshly rebuilt and ported MP62(had less than 6k miles before rebuild :suicide: ) by Jon Bond Performance, as well as powder coating the previously painted brackets.
Ported discharge side
Discharge side pre-port work
Discharge side post port work
As you can see it was opened up substantially.
Close up of inlet side of ported discharge
Close up of outlet side of ported discharge
Look at those like new rotor surfaces!
