Default 99-00 JDM Speedometer

Hello, I have for sale what I believe is either a 1999-2000 JDM gauge cluster. I'm unsure of the date because while it has black gauge faces like 99-00 Miatas do, it says "6speed" on the tach. As far as I know, only the 10th anniversary Miatas had 6 speed gearboxes, so if this came off of one of these, this could be from one of the 500 cars that went to Japan. What I do know is that it looks awesome, works great, and will work on any 1999-2005 Miata. I MUCH prefer these over the stock white gauges, and the 180kph speedometer makes it look like your car is way faster than it is when accelerating.

Hard to tell what these are worth, but eBay prices show around $180 minimum. This cluster does not have the clear plastic cover, nor does it have any light bulbs in the back. You simply have to swap your current ones over. $140 shipped takes it, or $120 picked up at San Marcos, TX.

Just wanted to say I have a 10AE and mine does not have the '6speed' red text on it. It definetely is a cluster from japan. glws

Oh yes, thank you. I know it is from Japan, as I purchased it from there. I am simply unsure if it is from a JDM 10AE. Only the 99-00 cars had black faces, and only the 10AEs had 6 speed transmissions (as far as I know at least). So I can't think of anything else it could be from. That would make this a very rare part.

From my research, there were many different NB1 models that came with the 6 speed, and they all received this cluster. I think the 10AE-equivalent models had chrome rings around the speedo/tach but I'd have to try to look that up again to confirm.
