Managed to blow up my torsen a few weeks back. Thought it would have been the ring and pinion that failed and it would be an easy fix as I have another pair sitting on the shelf. Unfortunately it was the spider gear that took a **** leaving me with a bunch of spare parts. I've been building another diff on the side for a while and expect to get that installed soon so I don't need any of these parts anymore.
So for all you drift boys out there, I have a broken torsen that could probably be welded up, you can have the 4.10 gears still attached to it.
I have the carrier available with stock bushings
and I have an extra set of 4.10 ring and pinion gears
Located near NYC for those who want to pickup locally. I can ship, just have to figure out cost based on your location.
Name your price, stuff's taking up space in the garage and I need the $$ to pay the shop building my new diff.
That housing might be worth $20 to somebody if its undamaged. The rest is garbage/scrap metal.
my engine builder is actually using the case and old bearings to make tooling to do miata rear end rebuilds a little more efficiently. Unfortunately, the ring and pinion did suffer some damage after further inspection...so yea, its just scrap
