*** Correction, these are the non-FIA "B6" model. ***
Hi all,
I picked these up used last year from someone who bought them new and never installed em. The fact that I'm 6ft 215lbs, I am going to need wider seats for my fat ***, which means no carbon fiber goodness for me :-(
Due to the thinness of the seat, they can sit LOW, but still be relatively comfortable for a racing bucket.
Nothing wrong with these seats and I'm not even sure these seats were ever mounted in a car. The lil head pad on one is missing the velcro on the back, but I'll replace it prior to sale.
Looking for $1300 for both seats picked up in San Francisco. I have just the seats, no mounts. These guys usually retail for $1200 for ONE before shipped across the pond.
I'll put velcro on the lil pad, I promise. close up bottom mounted
go on a diet for a few months, bam! you'll fit! calculate your total daily energy expenditure, and cut 1000 off. You will drop 2 pounds per week like clockwork. It sucks, but you can do it!
All you need is a kitchen scale, to calculate calories in the food you eat. (look at nutrition facts, find the Calories/gram of ingredient... you dont have to keep doing it, after the first few days, you know your portion sizes)
Great deal for some awesome seats, especially with the big $$$ Tillett pads. I still love mine.
Slight correction: B6F is the FIA-approved version which is side-mount only. Bottom mount means these are the non-FIA "B6" model. Nothing at all wrong with the regular B6 though.
