looks like one of the pics that artieparty posted has this valve cover on a 99 head. The question I have is if it required any modification?

I do indeed have a 99 head. Paul actually has a 99 head too. It bolts right up. But we both run COPs. Im not sure if the stock spark plug system fits or not with it. There's a breather in the back on the left hand side. That will interfere with the stock coils I believe on a 1.8 NA, not sure what the 99 coils look like and I'm a little lazy right now to look it up.

99-00 coils look similar to 94-97 coils and attach in the same manner so it would require the same modification with OEM coils.
I'll call seconds, we have the money for you.
