1.6L Custom Turbo Kit
I ran this turbo kit for 4 years until the engine decided to be a quitter. I need to sell it to buy a new mattress, growing up sucks.
My car made 242whp and 207 ft lbs of torque at 15 psi.
GT2560R with housings from BEGI turbo kit. The CHRA is basically brand new with less than 300 miles on it, ordered from ATP Turbo. The hot side housing is welded to the manifold because I got tired of it falling off; that's how I solved that problem.
ARTech top mount stainless manifold and 2.5" downpipe. The downpipe extends directly to the catback, bypassing the test pipe. I don't know the name of the exhaust, but it is 2.5". I cut the exhaust open and removed some material. It sounds incredible. One of the hangers ripped off the tailpipe section leaving a hole. There is a hairline crack in the manifold which will be repaired.
I made the intercooler piping. It includes a Synapse BOV, bung for IAT sensor, and provisions for the IACV hose. All hardware is included. Mishimoto intercooler with mounting bracket cools the air well.
Intake with K&N air filter which needs a cleaning. The intake falls off sometimes, that is an area which needs to be addressed.
Hallman Pro RX booster controller included.
ISSUES: Car boosts to 12psi, yet has 7psi spring, wastegate actuator must be faulty. It is incredibly hard to get the downpipe bolts on, one stud may have to be cut short due to the extreme angle of the piping.
$1400 for turbo kit with full 2.5" exhaust. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, NOT SHIPPING EXHAUST
