Exclamation [FS] Mazda 323/familia BG GT-R manifold+ihi rhf6 vj23 turbo

Hi there miata boyz and girlz,

I'm selling a very rare combo of a exhaust manifold and turbo from a Mazda 323/familia BG GT-R 1.8L DOHC 16V TURBO AWD.

Reason of the selling :

It's my spare parts, i'll never use it because i'll do another turbo + manifold setup in the future.

I've bought it as used unknow state part at the Mazda Van Herck dealer in Belgium Europe, so for resume i don't know the real state of the turbo, never seen it running.

They are no shaftplay on it, i'm not a expert and i don't know what else to verify for see if the turbo is in good condition, the intake wheels turn without troubles too.

If your not too far away here in europe i suggest you to come and to check it in person

This manifold is a oem strong cast and have very good flow charts ! it come from a bpd engine so the manifold will be bolt on ! somes modifications needed for fit the turbo on a miata, pictures of the flange below.

Turbo specs :

Brand : IHI
Type : RHF6
Model : VJ23

It's a ballbearings turbo, watercooled, lubricaded by the motor oil.

Pictures : please click on the little image for have it in high resolution.

Here's a picture of the turbo flange on a mazda familia gt-r oem exhaust manifold, look symetrical so can be flipped easely ??

Price : 1000usd shipped with proof of sending and tracking number.

accepted payments : cash, bank transfert*, paypal**.

*: I'll send the intake mani + turbo when i'll receive the money on my account, not earlier.
** : paypal feeds are not included.

I'm located in Belgium (europe) and shipping is killing the deal

If you have any questions, if i can answer it of course i'll do my best to help you !

Cheers !

Pics aren't showing, but I thought the factory FWD manifolds have the turbo pointing the wrong way. Meaning the downpipe would have to U around, clear all the accessories & steering for us LHD cars.

Flange is pretty square. Could likely flip it. (The turbo that is.)

In that case, "turbo not hit block"?

One thing I have always thought it would be cool: have the FWD turbo and pick up the intake from the bottom of the windshield (high pressure area)! Since i used to have a FWD BP if you get rid of the power steering pump, the downpipe should fit! I think some people were even successful relocating the power steering pump!

It is a smaller turbo if you have big power goals, but it does spool mad quick yo!

Hi there guys,

Thanks for your interest, normally the pictures are working, let me know if you can see thoses now.

The manifold will be bolt on on a bp engine but true for the turbo, need to be in the other side or go maybe bolt on on a rhd ? ^^
