Default WTF is going on?

Sooooooooooo, this is probably my fault because this couldn't happen on purpose. I recorded a log, opened it with MegaLogViewer and suddenly realized the VE tables are not the same as what is in the tune. How can I data log something different than what's in the tune? Look at the two .jpgs. WTF? Seriously, WTF?

Were you:

-Running VEAL while driving?
-Is the VE map on there off an old tune?

See the button on the MLV screen shot that says, "Open Tune"? You have to push it and then open the Current Tune. To be ultra-safe, Save the tune in TS first so you know that Current Tune is up-to-date.

Then, if you use MLV to change the table, you must Accept the Changes and then Save the Tune from MLV. TS will then ask you if you really want to load a change from another program.

As I had said, I figured it was my fault. I honestly thought that button was used to open another tune, other than the one that had been logged.

Thanks,

If it's any consolation, reading your threads makes me feel better about my boneheadedness. Hahaha.

Can you please just consolidate all your 10000+ random/n00b questions and ponderings into 1 thread going forward?

that way we don't have a bunch of "WTF is going on" and "WTF is this" threads in this technical section.
you'd be surprised at how annoying that becomes when someone is looking for actual legitimate information

How would I go about doing that?

Don't worry about the past, I'll combine the threads later.
Just going forward, make like a "poormxdad MS questions thread" or something and ask all the questions you want, that way it's easier for you and everyone else

That's basically what my thread turned into. Turns out it's a pretty great read for working on idle and getting the new TS firmware working well too!
