VVT settings and cam timings
Hello,
i have some question about the vvt setting up, after the test procedure those are the values found for my engine:
But, on 99% of base maps available online the right values are more like these:
is there something wrong with my timing belt alignment? Plus, but maybe is more placebo than reality, the engine has more power with higher values on the vvt table than commonly found online, that would couple with the timing belt alignment issue, does it makes sense?
Thanks!

Those values are the absolute crank angles for the cam triggers. If they are significantly different than what is published by say DIY, there is a good chance your cam timing is off. The edge capture configuration does play in here. I don't use a built in decoder, so I don't know how much the edge capture moves stuff around for most installs.

Ok this is partly solved, moving from rising edge to falling fixed the "gap" in the cam values, not a timing issue then. But i can't get vvt working right since i get oscillating values between 0 and 8 very quickly and few lost syncs during cranking.
Why lost syncs now i put the right edges pattern? I will recheck trigger offset tomorrow and re do the vvt setup procedure...

Ok, solved the VVT side, moved from 5° to 9° trigger offset, now car pulls as it should... when i get to start it!
Something messed up the startup procedure when changing to falling edge, i can't get a clean startup when warm. Played with crank advance and 18° seems to be a bit better, but when i think i solved, the rightafter restart i often get same issue. Seems to like when i cycle ignition after a missed startup, maybe for the double priming pulse? I don't like the IAT values too, and this is where i'd address the troubleshooting.
Here my tune, logs to come, if you feel to help
Thanks
