vTPS HAAAAALP!
All right. I'm having a really weird issue with my '94 vTPS.
It configures fine in tuner studio, although a bit odd - 830 to 980ish range from min pedal to max. Different than what my reading indicates it should be, but the numbers are 100% repeatable. It configures with no hiccups at all.
Then I get absolutely no readings from the TPS option in logs or in tuner studio.
.....wut? I'm over my head here.

I dont believe you wired in the way that Reverant most likely built your harness; the most comon way the MS is wired on a 1.6L for tps is:
(watch me blow your mind with details)
5vref to the RED wire on 1N
TPS signal wire on the LG/W wire on 2L
the BlK/G remains a ground from the main sensor ground point.
The way Joe describes with dated info, over 4 years ago, to wire for a MSI is to:
TPS signal to the RED wire on 1N
5vref to the LG/W wire on 2L
the BlK/G remains a ground from the main sensor ground point.
So that's a big issue, and probably is why you log shows the ADC always around 900 or so, as you've wired the 5vref directly to the MS TPS signal input.
You need to flip the red and ltgn/w wires around at your TPS connector and enjoy TPS readings.
It would probably do you some justice to confirm this with the person who built your MS, but I'm almost postive that's the issue and reverant puts the TPS sig on 2L, not 1N. Post #22 in your same thread is pretty baller...

or just reverse those two wires, recalibrate and see what happens
it's also possible that rev install a pull-down resistor to preven the signal from going high and causing the TPS to sit at 100% when you're driving without a vTPS installed. I do this in my 9093 builds.

So, I should have tried wiring at random listed in that thread until I found something that worked?
Braaainnyyyyy, that doesn't sound very smart to me!
But seriously bro, thanks. Going in in a few minutes to pick up some soldering supplies, then onwards! SOLDERING HO!

Okay.
Here's the problem:
If I get in and turn on the ignition, the TPS is fine for the first 30 seconds or so.
Then I get a red light in my Tuner Studio dashboard that says "TPS Fault", and I get no readings from the TPS anymore.
What do?
