Default Tach??????

So i got my MS2 built and wired on my sr20det with the EDIS4. Everything up to this point went great but now i am stuck. I dont know were to get the right tach signal for my stock dash tach. I know witch wire to run the tach signal to on my cluster. Just not sure how to set this up, i looked here http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/EDIS.htm and it gives me 2 options but not sure witch one to use. Also is there a way to get a tach signal from the MS2 through the DB37.

looks like pin 11 out of the EDIS4 is the tach signal. this should go back to the yellow/blue wire on the ignitor connector.

you could build the tach output circuit in your MS, but you'd have to run a wire out back to the dash...then tach input to the cluster comes in through the diagnostics box, spot labeled IG-.

I am not running an ignitor with the EDIS4 so im guessing i just run that to the back of my dash?

You need to pull the tach signal from both (-) from the coil pack to edis module. If your dash tach was originally run by a single coil, then you may need to follow the very last diagram on that link. It shows how to combine both (-) signals into one.

i didnt say connect to the ignitor.

the yellow/blue wire on the ignitor connector, connects to the IG- spot on teh diagnostics connector, connects to the dash tach.

When I look it up, it shows pin 11 as tach out, that link says try pin 2. worse comes to worse you use that last diagram, but in all cases wire back to the wire I suggest.
