Default Sensors work, about to do fuel

Hi, I'm new here. I've been checking out this forum for a while as I planned, built, and began to install my MS. Thanks everyone for having this forum here and all the helpful info...
Car is a '90 manual with a '99 engine, all '90-'92 electronics, LC-1 wideband. Bosal 4-2-1 header, high flow cat, but oem '90 exhaust for now.
I built the v3.0 board w/MSNSe 029q2 from the kit with the help of a friend of mine who repairs circuit boards for a living. Besides the stimulator, this was my first circuit board project, but with my friends help, the board has come together without any problems. I've not yet done the ignition and idle mods but have done the CAS input mods.
I'm planning to install the MS in several stages, starting with inputs (done), then fuel, spark, fans, idle, etc. as I get each thing to work (not necessarily in that order?)
I've installed the LC-1 and MS in the car and hooked up all sensors. I'm using the GM IAT open element sensor and spliced into the stock coolant temp sensor.
I'm about ready to hook the injectors up to the MS, but I'd like to know what I'm doing with all of the settings before I do so. I've seen tables people have posted here, but I'm wondering about the other tables people aren't showing, like 'Exhaust Gas Settings', 'Accel Decel Trigger Dot', 'Acceleration Wizard'... and so on.
Should I figure all of these out myself first, or should I get a .msq file to start and learn about all of these settings as I get more experience?
Thanks again,
Jeff

Your car setup is exactly the same as mine. When you're ready, send me a pm with your email address and I'll send you my .msq. You could be up and running for fuel and spark in no time at all.

I could've gotten started this past weekend, but I need 10 posts to PM. I've been reading all of the threads here to see where I could contribute something... not sure. Don't really have any questions yet that I don't anticipate being answered once I've got the .msq and get that installed. I've been an active member on miata.net for 3 years and have only about 77 posts there, despite numerous lively discussions I've been involved in...

I guess I'm not much for small talk.

What is the objection to putting email addresses in profiles? Even a secondary like Aussiedriver@yahoo.com would be helpful. OrangeRoadster has one in his profile.

Having been subjected to spamming once before because I had my email address listed on a forum, I'm not too keen to do it again.

It was bad enough to get '**** bombs' through my old home email account, but I'm now a secondary teacher and I teach in a girl's school. If the IT administrator see's that I recieve anything like that while I'm logged onto the school network then I would lose my job. Then there would also be a very good chance that I would lose my career.

I'm not taking that chance.

I had no idea that my email address was available like that. Somehow I don't get much spam, so maybe I should change that?

Weather's been kind of overcast but nice. It's cooled down in the last couple weeks.
