This is the second Wiseco pistons set that gets burned, I use MS3 Basic, EV14 1000cc injectos, I set base timing with a gun, I got ATI dumper with 4 tooths trigger wheel, AEM WB,
I ran low boost and about 10deg under boost...
I under stand it is lean condition resulting detonation I just do not understand why or what to check, I did every thing like everyone else, same common parts, ecu, tune.
Can "Ignition Input Capture" or "Spark output" wrong config can cause that ?
MSQ attached.
This is the second set the get burned - too much money spend.
All four pistons seem to suffer from the same lean condition.
I would appreciate any help - thanks.

1) I do not know how MS interprets Required Fuel = 0 Once you put in the injector values, you have to click the "Required Fuel" Button, to actually load the calculated value.
2) If you are running low boost, why is your Overboost Protection set at 265 kPa?
3) I have never heard of anyone running 100 kPa more than 30 BTDC. You are at 35. That could be where you are detonating.
4) Did you use DET CANS? I note that you have no knock control settings.
5) "Simple EGO" is for narrow band O2 sensors.
1) Is just an anti theft mesure, when I drive I put in the correct value.
2)It is all built for 20psi~ but not running it till everything is good.
3)I'll check that.
4)Nothing heard from the out side - I'll use my det cans.
5)It works with simple too.
That's not a lean condition. That damage is from heavy, sustained, knocking.
The ring lands... RIP
The flame front starts in the center, around the spark plug, and moves outward more or less radially. The end gasses along the cylinder walls are the last to burn.
And all the little pock marks are from detonation heavy enough to melt the piston. It usually gets deposited on the spark plug, head, or valves.
I was running about 17deg @ 7000rpm @ 12-14psi, as far as I know it is normal timing and a little on the low side, could it be too advanced ? Aftermarket pistons are less sturdy then stock ?
Stock pistons came out ok with just very very little sign of damage (200k km ... 20k km with boost)
What I'm asking is, is there is something wrong or it is just too advanced ?
Why do you have -3 in the trigger angle offset? This suggests that you have set the timing improperly, and compared to the lowest number I've calibrated so far (+3), you are at least 6 degrees more advanced (lower number = more timing).
Your timing in boost is ok-ish, but that also heavily depends on other factors like exhaust manifold design and type, exhaust type, turbo, intercooler capacity, etc. I've seen cars detonating at 10 degrees with 15psi (really bad log manifold), so a blanket statement of "17 degrees at 12-14psi is safe/ok" may not reflect the truth in your particular setup. Knock is rarely audible in a turbo car with an exhaust, so you need to monitor carefully through the stock sensor.

Tldr; too much timing.
The first time I installed the timing and made sure it was right, the trigger offset was negative too then, the second time the timing was installed by a local garage, same negative offset - could be something with the trigger wheel on the ATI ?
I'll make sure as much as possible that the timing is right, I do see that on all the MS3 I tuned on miatas the offset was positive 4-6deg.
The reason I ask is I'm afraid something is wrong beyond the timing.
I all ways let random anonymous people from forums on the internet tell me what to do.
I all ways imagine you as a little kid with no life and friends siting all the on the forum and looking who you can talk trash to this time.
We are not the same age kid, please go away.
I haven't been on the forum for over a year, and he's still the same

Correct. The tune is some of the hottest trash i've seen in years. You don't know what you're doing.
The tune is ok, , nothing too abnormal from any tune you guyz run, to say I don't know what I'm doing would not be true, could be I don't know everything but I learn all the time.
