So I used to have an issue where the CAN1 controller would not talk at all with the key in and ignition on. Tunerstudio could see and communicate with the MS2 itself, but errored on CAN1 and wouldn't get Digital AFR or any of the CAN1 options. That seems to have gone away.
Now I have pretty consistent resets of the CAN1 device when driving. These are shown by a CEL with reason code 10 (Secondary Processor Reset according to Rev). Occasionally the reset is followed by an actual loss of sync and the car dying (Code 39 - 4G63)
I just redid all my engine bay grounds yesterday. They all had 0 Ohm resistance when I bolted them down. Except for the Main Relay ground in the ECU grounding block under the brake booster, which had ~2.4 Ohms. Assuming this is due to the fact that the ECU did not have the relay engaged as the key was off. School me if I'm an idiot here.
Still getting Code 10s. Any ideas? Logs are attached.
The 2016-10-02 17.02.45.msl log has the reset. You can see it in the CEL Reason and CAN1 Seconds fields. This log has an actual Code 39 and the car misfired but didn't die.
The other log is just a bit of a longer log in case something else is evident over a longer time period.
Edit: Just unbolted my little amplifier and powered subwoofer from the battery to see if it cleans anything up. Still open for other ideas.
