Randomly bogging at idle, running rich, stock coil dwell issue?
Ok so I have been trying to find tune my MS2 AbeFM unit.
I was playing with my idle and dwell settings while continueing to fine tune the fuel table and after driving it all day and feeling happy with the results I started getting weird issues tonight.
1) Randomly while idleing the idle will go from the 900 or so its at to 750-650 and read 7.4-8.0 AFR.
2) When this happens randomly it also seems to 50/50 chance it that it will bog when you hit the gas for a few seconds and then its fine.
I changed my dwell numbers based on some information I found posted by Joe P.
Cranking Dwell at 5ms
Max Dwell at 3.5ms
The car seemed to run smoother today and did not have the popping through the exhaust I got with the original settings of:
Cranking Dwell 6.5ms
Max Dwell 5.5ms
I was going to put it back to stock but I wanted to ask for some insight as maybe its a different issue.
Thanks everyone!
