PWM crank duty or cranking PW%?
Hello everyone, I've had my PNP2 on my 95 for about 3 days and today after school I'm going to try and smooth out some of my issues with getting the car started. I have one question however. To get my car to start cold, I usually have to give it some more throttle and it will come to life. I've read several times that decreasing the cranking PW% at that coolant temp could help.
The thing that confuses me is the PWM crank duty table. Would it make sense that instead of decreasing fuel when cranking, I could open the idle valve by raising the duty % to compensate for that extra fuel? I realize that this could cause the engine to rev up high when it finally starts, so if that happens, wouldn't it be best to lower bot cranking PW (fuel) and PWM crank duty (air) at the same time?
I tried searching and didn't really find anything on this topic so if this has been discussed before please let me know. Thanks for any help!
