problem again.. need good msq.
Okay here's the deal, I'm not just lazy. My car wouldn't start the other day, turned out to be hydrolocked somehow! well now I got it started, but Im having problems like the ones I had the same time last year, that ended up being corrupted files. Well I have reflashed firmware a few times made a few brand new msq. and nothing still feels like its running on 2 cyclinders and the wideband wont leave 11's and just sucks I know its getting fuel cause all the plugs are black from being so rich. I have COP conversion. So the ignitor cant be fried. Its acting the same as last year when I had to use someone elses msq, and then tune it to my car. Im at a loss at what else to do other than try someone elses msq if that doesn't work I guess flash it back to 029v to see if that fixes it but I had the same exact setup running fine on hi-res 10G. Until it hydrolocked and wouldnt start. Oh yea Im running 550's that just got cleaned about a month ago at injector rehab. So if anyone could kindly post their 100% running msq that would be great

is your configurator setup right for your wideband and map sensor?
trigger angle setup correctly?
coolant and ait resistance and bias settings were correctly flashed? correct .inc files in the proper project folder?
are you sparking on all 4? have you dried out your chambers?
attached is the above map tweaked for 550s and COPS.

the new msq fixed it! but using the firmware and ini files joe posted my values are way off.. and I have no idea how to redo them to get them closer? first turn of the key ambient outside was 87F and ait was 55F and coolant was 75F

save the files Joe uploaded for you locally:
https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/att...0&d=1220543993
unplug your COPs and connect to your MS. Save your MSQ locally.
open easy therm, hit custom, and select the correct com port.
click upload to MS.
select the msns-extra_mod.s19 file in that zip. click ok for everything it prompts.
should burn 1770 lines. If it freezes, cycle power to MS, do the same again, Dont use the cpu if its burning, it tends to freeze if you do anything.
once your done, depower the MS, copy the .inc files to your project folder. If your MT usualy prompts you what project to open than you must put it in the folder you use. otherwise the default is car1. So C:\Program Files\MegaSquirt\car1\
turn on the MS, connect to Megatune, values should be good. If not come back here well figure out why. Otherwise, plug the cops back in, load your map back and tune away.

Will do thanks for sticking with me here.

Looks like the problem lies within the files Joe setup for you....
gave the AIT a bias of 2490 (meaning not sharing with the ecu) and the CLT a bias of 1450 (meaning R7 in place and sharing with the ECU, although it should actually be 1280 in this case)
Correct bias for you would be 1450 and 2625 respectively.
before you try the attached, can you pop the lid (4 top screws) and confirm i didn't add R7 back (blue resistor bottom right)
