Default No spark while cranking?

Le sigh...

MS3, just upgraded to the latest firmware (1.4.0). Though, the problem existed on the 1.2.3 beta or whatever it was running before. Issues started after doing the head gasket.

In test mode, I can get the coils to fire. They do not fire under normal cranking, until I stop cranking and they'll fire once (according to timing light, anyway). Fuel injectors are working.

Battery voltage seems to hover around low 10's while cranking. Is that too low?

TS also is showing the sync lights crossed out (see attached). I'm guessing they shouldn't be? A composite log is also attached, which shows some sync errors when it first starts cranking, but then they seem to go away.

Tune is attached as well.

Thanks!

Try setting the spark output to MS3X Spark.

Can't bump start it, either. Just tried rolling it down my driveway, which is fairly steep and has successfully bump started many other cars, and it doesn't do anything. Just skids the rear wheels.

Found a new battery to test with...nothing.

I did notice that the tach isn't moving at all while cranking, but I get rpm's in tuner studio.

Ugh, I'm not smart enough to figure this out.

It's also still got no sync while cranking, even though the crank and cam sensors are showing up in the composite log. The VVT err light occasionally flashes.

It is showing sync in the composite log, but TunerStudio may need its dashboard reloaded. The sync indicators changed wording after 1.2.4 firmware.

The exhaust cam ended up being off slightly.

Ended up having more serious issues with the freshly rebuilt head I put on (it's getting sent back tomorrow).
