Default Need a little clarification on full sequential injection

Edit: I have a ms2 v3.0 going to run ms extra
So i understand where to jump the u2 chip and remove R21,C20,C21,R22,R23,Y1,C24,C25 from the clock circuit.

Where I am confuse is that it says that pin 4 and 5 can now be used for injector 3 and 4 but then it tells me where the 4 injector channels are at.

Do i need to run my injector wires to these 4 channels? or can i just run from the normal injector bank 1 and 2, and pin 4 and pin 5.

Is there any additional hardware that need to be installed?

and yes i did look for answers lol non were present.

I was planning to use the Jbperf board for full sequential.

Sequential Injection Code for MS2

Good board, ran my low-z injectors off the peak and hold board.

You do have that board, right? Right? Because if I'm understanding you correctly - no, you can not run your injectors directly off the megasquirt board by doing that mod without having the injector driver board.

I so don't miss hacking up a v3.0 board to run the simplest of functions.

I understand it's hacky but is there anything about (Jbperf board for sequential) it that makes it less effective vs MS3? Serious question.

lol i don't really know this is my first ms. It seems like you can do a lot of things with the ms2 just easier with the ms3

less effective, no. Modding a v3.0 ms2 board is just a PITA.

The circuit for injectors is pretty darn easy, if you have a clear proto area you could easily add all four drivers in there.

this picture shows how I add two extra drivers on a DIYPNP:

You'd have to build all four on a v3.0 Ms2.

That's one of the funnier things I've heard in the last month.
