My miata doesn't run when the engine gets hot
Hi, so im new to tunning, I just installed a turbo on my 1990 Miata NA6.
I swapped my injectors with some 420cc rx8 yellow, replaced my MAF with a GM IAT sensor and added a wideband for my AFR sensor, all the basic to turbo a Miata.
My ECU is a DIY MS3 with the expansion card.
The problem is that I can’t get my car to run on idle when the engine is hot. I am usually able to get it to idle when the engine is cold and I can keep it running for around 10min until it die by itself (usually when the WUE turns off so I would be missing gas) but if I stop the car and start it again, it will run for a couple seconds until it dies or even dies immediately unless I give it a little gas (that's what I did in one of my logs).
I have check my timing but I am not sure if I did it properly. All I know is that when it’s on fixed timing at 10° cranking advance BTDC with the idle valve disconnected, and with 4° Trigger angle/offest, the small dent on the pulley is right on the 10° mark on the car (idk if im being clear)
Here is my tune and my logs (the long one is a cold start and the short one is after it's warm) (I set my timing on the çold start so you might see weird thing but what matters most is the end.
I dont know what I'm doing wrong, I just want the car to run (not necessary well but just to run) and I’ve spend 5 days trying to find what could be the issue.
I'm new to the forum and english isn't my native language, so I apologize in advance if I made any mistakes
Thanks

It's mainly just tuning. You have no idle ignition correction enabled, and since you're only starting to tune, you shouldn't have idle VE enabled either. But what you're describing sounds like hot restart issues. I would start by disabling idle VE, enabling idle ignition correction and giving it +/- 10 degrees +/- 100rpm from target, increasing idle ignition to 16-18, increase idle target to ~950, changing and tuning all columns in the idle area, and once you're done, EGO correction should be hovering around ~97-98%. Make sure it revs and returns to idle without dipping. If it does, try increasing your initial duty. Once that's set, switch ASE count units to ".1 seconds" instead of cycles and increase taper/percentage till it restarts better. There's a LOT of other things "wrong" with your tune like the MAT air density table and a few other things, but that should get your started.

I disabled ide VE and I am able to switch ASE count units to ".1 but I could not find the settings for everything else in the quote, I don't know if it has a different name or if I have a different version of tunerstudio but it's just not there.
Thanks
