Are my coolant temps normal (MS3/X)?
I've been running my MS3/X for a little over a month now, and playing around with the tune when I find time. Two problems have stuck out since the beginning. One is the IAT sensor is heat soaking, but I've done plenty of searches, and have a plan.
My second issue is that my coolant temp shoots straight up to the low 200s and my fan is always on. It is not hot is San Diego, so I'm wondering if this is a radiator issue. I have the stock radiator, but the plastic top has not browned, so I believe the PO installed it somewhat recently. Weird thing is I don't think my fan was always running when I had the OEM ECU installed. I've quadruple checked my TS CLT calibration and ensured it is set as:
CLT Values:
Deg F Ohms
-4 16150
104 1150
176 330
Anyone have any experience with this? What coolant temps should I expect?

get the IAT out of the engine bay. I have mine on the cold side of the intercooler. Drilled a hole and tapped some threads in it. Best mod yet. Same size hole and thread pitch as the BEGI oil return drill bit/tap.
if your coolant really is getting that hot and your readings are correct, thought of a coolant reroute? or maybe gunk in the radiator?
