Default Multi pin connectors

Does anyone have a source for the 8 pin connector to the harness that plugs into the igniter Mitsubishi Power TR Unit J702T that is mounted on the passenger side just aft of the coolant tank and forward of the fuse box. I'm cleaning out old messed up wiring and installing and installing a MegaSquirt PNP. The plug with a few inches of the wires would be great. Used would be great or a source for a new plug would be good also. Thanks again for the knowledge and experience on this forum.

This is for a '91 1.6 liter. I'm not going to coil on plug at this time. I just found this picture of what I need.

Just get an old ignitor and bust it open.

There's so much else on your 1.6 you're gonna need to bastardize though, may as well just lop the thing off and hardwire whatever your doing.

There is no such connector. /end

(Ok I will tell you why - because the connectors are "Wire to device" connectors - like the igniter. There never was a counterpart for this connector)

Thanks. That hadn't occurred to me. Junk yard only source I guess. I wonder if the same igniter was used on other cars/suvs in early '90s. Mitsubishi Galant or Trooper maybe?

A lot of Mitsubishi, Subaru etc. used the same igniter

On my '90 I used an 8 pin connector that I found both halves of at a junk yard. I de-pinned the connector ends (On the ignitor and new junk yard plugs) and stuck them in the new, junk yard sourced connector and wired in my coils using a new harness from the matching junk yard connector to the coils.

Thanks Guys. I found one in a junk yard. Maybe make engine sounds this weekend!
