Default MSPNP2 Launch Control Toggle Switch Question

I'm planning on wiring my launch control to a toggle switch. I don't want flat shift, just 2Step. My first question is how does the Megasquirt engage launch control, is it looking for ground or power into the options port? I’m pretty sure it’s looking for ground but i’m not 100%. If it's looking for power i plan on tapping into the buzzer connector's switched 12v wire and toggling that on/off into the options port, if it's looking for ground I plan on just toggling into ground. Second question is do I still need to tap into the clutch switch or can I go along with my plans of using just a toggle switch? Thanks!

I'm on an ms3x so I don't really have any info about the mspnp2 but if LC works similarly there's no real need for a switch. Just wire it how everyone else does with the top clutch switch and set the "Enable Launch when TPS above %" to 75 or more and it will never accidentally engage. This is the same case for flat foot shifting, just make sure your TPS % is above what your normal blips for downshifts are and it won't ever activate in situations you don't want it to. That is unless you don't have a variable TPS. In that case all you will need is a switch on the ground side of the clutch switch. At that point you would be better off wiring a button to arm it instead of a toggle switch because without a VTPS signal your launch control just becomes a secondary limiter.
