MSPNP2-9093 in '96?
I hate that my first post of what I'm sure will be many is this kind of question, but finding the answer was more of a struggle than other Miata questions I've had.
I had a 92 Miata I was going to turbo, bought an MSPNP2_ECU-MM9093 FW Rev 3.3.1 and some other bits. Ended up selling that car before I got much installed. Now I have a '96 NA and am trying to figure out if I can run the 9093 ECU on the '96 car. So far I've found a Flyin Miata How-to that gives pinout changes to fit the '96 wires into the '95 plug config, but I can't find much more. Anyone out there know the answer or able to point me in the right direction? I've considered parallel if I have to but would prefer to go full standalone.
Sidenote my MS has a sticker on the back that says BB: A.S. and QC: J.S. Assuming these are Built By and Quality Control initials. Anyone recognize this duo on here?

I know you can run the 90-93 in the 94-95 chassis without any issues, but it's highly likely that the OBD-II of the 96-97 may make your life... challenging.
If you wanted to get the wiring diagrams and try to map out everything, that'd be one way.
Or, maybe someone else might weigh in, here.
But it might be a stretch.

Braineak, thanks for the chuckle, I very much value your opinion and expertise but for once I have to hope it's not right! Time will tell if I open mouth insert foot on that one though.
Update to this, I contacted Matt at DIYAutoTune and he told me if I repin my stock harness plugs or build an adapter pigtai to match the 9093 ecu pinout l I should be able to run the 9093 with no issue. Conveniently some of the turbo bits I just bought came with an AEM the guy ran piggyback so I now have an adapter pigtail I can repin and test without hopelessly destroying the harness connectors in my car.
Stay tuned, should be getting around that that next week.

And yes OP, repinning the harness or/plus adding AEM stuff........ sell the MSPNP2 you have and get MS3 because MSPNP means no wiring to mess with. If you want wiring to mess with, get MS3 because 3 is greater than 2.
