MSM Base Tune with Joe's intake (similar to BEGI) and FM dp/exhaust
Hi guys,
I have started my process of tuning the MSM with the MS3 pnp pro. Still learning a bit and wanted to reach out to you guys to see if you can provide some pointers for a good possible starting tune for my car...
Stock motor
305cc injectors
Joe's intake (similar to a BEGI unit)
FM downpipe and exhaust
GM IAT sensor (calibrated)
AEM WB (calibrated)
DIY EBC (bypassed at the moment - WG connected directly to the intake)
Any "base" tune I could potentially use as a reference?
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
Pololo

I am not happy with the DIY basemap, it was very rough with many features disabled and startup/warmup as a generic default. I am having issues with hot start, but you can take a look at my MSQ to help you get some ideas, it is not perfect yet so be warned. I have a similar setup except I am running Flow Force 640cc injectors.

Since you are planning to use the DIY EBC, don't forget to disable the control for the stock MSM boost control valve. The setting is located at Advanced Engine / Programmable On/Off Settings / High Current Out 2.
With this setting enabled, the DIY EBC will be energized at 3700 RPM which effectively closes the waste gate and even the little bitty MSM turbo will make 18 PSI and hit the overboost fuel cut.
