Sync loss at 4k rpm. Ms3x on a 99 1.8. Everything is stock besides aem eugo wideband and gm ait. Any help would be great. I can post a log if anyone wants, just lmk what type since im really not sure whats going on. Tuning the pots in the ms has led to pretty much no change. I was getting sync loss at like 1k but i managed to get it up to 4k. Nothing above 4k from tuning r56 pot.
Edit: cam angle sensor losing sync, there is a log down below but idk what could be told from it really. Please help im kinda desperate.

check the distance from your crank sensor to the tooth wheel... only supposed to be around the width of a credit card, I am wondering if as your RPMS increase it introduces a little wobble that moves the trigger wheel just outside of the pickup zone. Its quick enough to check and confirm or eliminate it as an issue

Replace cam sensor, check to ensure cam sensor is snug to electrical connector, possibly hardwire the 3 wires to the cam sensor w/ RTV as the connector can fail sometimes, maybe just zip tie the connector to the sensor if it comes loose on bumps (mine did this before).
Maybe replace with a ballenger motorsports cam sensor + new connector if heat related cam sensor failure occurs.
That's about all I've got, get a decent cam sensor in there first and see what happens.

Are you using rising edge or falling edge? Try switching to falling from rising, or rising to falling, and see if there's any effect. Also keep in mind that you must re-time the car after doing so, as it will advance/retard a few degrees. I was repeatedly losing sync and this fixed it for me.
