MS3x base map
Hello All
Im looking to see if anyone has a base map I can use to get my car tuned with similar mods to the ones listed below? I already sent a PM to Scott for some assitance since I bought the Ms3x from him, Im sure he told me a base map would be provided with the MS. But my tuner couldnt find it.. I know Scott is a busy man, so im asking for some assitance here:

ms3x brain built
gm iat
aem uego
id725 injectors
stock cas and crank wheel
Thanks in advance

No worries! Hope I can help where I can. Responded to your PM.
I'd recommend you go make an intro thread here:Meet and Greet - Miata Turbo Forum - Turbo Kitten is watching you test compression.
Tell us about your car, goals, mechanical ability, cat, etc. Post pics, we loves pics.

Ok Guys, I got a chance to help Charlie out yesterday and I've run into a sticking point. He got Brains instructions and we walked through them and confirmed everything looked good, but we are at that part where you get to start the car and set timing... and I can't find the bloody timing marks on the balancer. No seriously, there is like one white dot on the face of the balancer but its not anywhere near where I would expect it.
We did find that the sensor ground for the Wideband was not hooked up, so took care of that and things were pretty close in TunerStudio (0.3~0.4)
This is a 94-97 1.8 with a CAS and I'm used to NB hardware so this is a little different for me. I need to confirm TDC but I don't want to rip his engine apart to do it. Here is what I'm thinking:
The car actually ran on the stock ECU before the MS3 went in so I don't really want to pull the valve cover off. It "should" be pretty close to the 10 degrees the stock ECU expects to be able to run.
She cranks and pushes fuel around, we get the occasional pop through the exhaust, but I can't get it to pop with any frequency. We abused it until the battery got warm so it was time to stop.
What do? Logs attached.

- Remove all 4 plugs
- Get big socket and crank engine around manually
- Use screwdriver/dipstick to confirm top of stroke
- Check for cam lobe in oil fill hole (should point outboard)
- Mark "Probably TDC" with white-out
- Crank with timing light and see if we are close

Awesome, thanks
Can do, I'll be back to look at it again tonight and I'll see if I can pull a composite. I don't know why I didn't think of that, its been over a year since I touched a MS and I'm still a noob with some of this stuff
Something else I just thought of... is it possible that the harness connectors are on the wrong coils? I think the blue marked one goes on the passenger side, and that's 1/4? I think its labeled on the coil pack bracket. At any rate I'll look it up today and confirm all the ignition stuff after we are done confirming the timing.
