Default Ms3Pro Ignition map

Hello!
I just finished my VVT swap build in 90 NA and I have install the new Garrett G25-550. I will start the engine break-in in atmospheric mode and my goal is to go to the dyno to work on an ignition table with a boost of 21- 23 psi. I wish If anyone could share their ignition table with me so I can will fine tune it when the time comes to go to the dyno.
My current spec is built VVT engine with 83.50 supertech pistons, Manley rods, Supertech valves with VS-855 springs, sequential LS Coils, sequential 960cc Bosch EV14 injectors,
OEM intake rail and manifold, Garrett G25-550 turbo with Tial MV-S external wastegate and 3” exhaust.
Is there anyone who wants to reveal his top secret ignition map? I will be very grateful if someone wants to share it with me to compare
Thank you and greetings from Spain!

Why not use the stock ignition map, if its a turbo map (up to 260kpa). Maybe take a look on trubokitty. If you are scared, back it off -2 degrees.

Please, please let us know how your new Garrett turbo feels/performs and post a dyno chart.

Thanks, but only 3 rows above 100kPa appear on the base map. I wish someone could share a map with 6 or 7 rows in a range above 100kPA (16x16 table)

Here is mine for what its worth. YMMV.
Keep in mind that the fuel table for this is still a work in progress (Upgraded injectors), although the spark table has been solid for me.
Granted this will only get you up to 15psi, but its a start

Also note that this is run on E85, your fuel of choice is going to impact your timing severely.
This is run on a MS3Pro PNP01-05

OP, do not copy and paste those tables for spark into your ecu if you are running anything that isn't e85. The detonation threshold is different with e85.

Thank you! In my country we use 98 octane fuel

It is most likely 98 research which would be equivalent to 93-94 R+M/2 in the states. What compression ratio?

98RON(EU measurement) does not equal 98 Octane. It's two different scales like Celcius and Fahrenheit.

It’s correct, 98 RON is equal than 93 RON+ MON/2.
Can anyone share their ignition table for this type of fuel?

Here is my efr6258 map with 8.8 cr stock pistons and 93 pump gas. Vvt motor. I run this map for 2 years and up to 18 psi.

Hello, I have the project stopped since the quarantine started. I am going back to this thread and I would need an expert to advise me if the table I am working on is safe:

I will appreciate any help

Too hot, bro!

I would pull 3-5° over the entire map for starting! Around idle you are pretty aggressive, too. And smooth out your 70-80kpa row

You thanked Borka and did not learn anything from his map. Idle should be be 10-12. To start out I would run the 175 row at 20 max, 150/24, 125/26 and the 100kpa at 28. At 20psi+ I hope your running E85 and lots of it.

What I did was to rescale the basemap table and I've also been comparing it with the following thread and it looks pretty much like the table that @Braineack explains:

https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...p-85249/page2/

Is my ignition map very aggressive for the target I am looking for?

That is better but only if your running less then 18psi. If your target is 20+ you should add a 250-260kpa row. You should plan on 10-12psi max and learn to tune first. 20+ is another world.

Didn't read thread but replying per IG request:
Run 25-27* from 2k to 7k at 100kpa if you want a safe base map. subtract 3* for every 1 psi of boost above that. anything more needs to be tuned properly

Thanks VladiTuned for the tips. I still have doubts ...
Yesterday I did a road test at 16-17 psi and this is the route that the turbo makes through the map. I have thoroughly examined the Borka table and when I boost, my values are practically the same:

Seen this way my map does not seem so aggressive. I insist the map that I currently have is the MS3Pro base map scaled to 275Kpa, the original has a scale to 250Kpa. I upload my ignition map file and the logs in case you want to examine it.
In my opinion, the car is going very well and I have not heard strange noises. The Knock sensor seems to give a good reading since in the 2K to 4K section it does not hit.

By the way, my IG profile is @jrmiata in case anyone wants to see my project

Edit: today I have made this pull limiting the wastegate to 10psi and these are the values that I have obtained. Here perhaps it is very advanced?
