MS3Pro Evo 1.6L to VVT Sequential wiring.
Hey guys, want to get your guys input, theres a lot of information but some times I feel it doesn't pertain to my setup. I have a 1990 NA and rewired the whole car completely. I went with a MS3Pro Evo and made my own harness as well. My original plan was to build a 1.8L built engine but a standard like 94-97 motor. Well I got the 1.6 setup and running, had everything sequential ignition and injection, using LS Truck coils etc. Well unfortunately something got sucked into the 1.6 and destroyed the head and 3 pistons. Friend of mine sold me his VVT engine, so as Im getting ready to prep the new motor I've been researching on the wiring on crank sensor and cam sensor and the go abouts of wiring it in plus 36-2 trigger wheels. So kind of got overwhelmed with information and confused since the stuff I've found are on like PNP, stock wiring harness etc.
The other idea I was thinking was just removing the plug on the exhaust cam and putting in a 1.8 CAS that i've been using, would that be the simplest?

It is just a few wires, not really a big undertaking. You won't be able to get sequential or control VVT if you don't have a cam sensor. Just wire into the same inputs that they use on the PNPs.
I run a MS3Pro module pinned out to something that resembles a NB1 plug set on a 91 chassis with a VVT head. IOW, very doable.
