MS3-X no cam signal
I built a MS3X for my 91 miata with 1.8 swap.
car currently has 1.6 wiring/ecu/sensors with fm swap kit.
ms is built following the mega manual.
firmware loaded up no problem got Brains base map.
changed settings for batch fuel and spark.
and M3X board cam input
I wired it to use injection G for fan output like Franks write up states.
With brains base map the fan is on constant, if i try to change its settings to inj G it give a error for conflicting pin use.
Test outputs and everything works like it should.
Crank car, it shows cranking but no rpm, logging shows crank trigger on trigger logger but composite logger shows nothing.
cam signal is wired in to pin 32 on the X board
R56 is set to give 2.75v
R11 would max out at 2.34v on r17
I have double checked wiring a couple times... any ideas?

I would revisit your pots until you get signals in composite logger. I've never had an issue on a 90-95 install by simple doing 7 turns CW on R56 and 3 on R11.
what was the conflict you were getting on inj G? what else is using it? there is a list of in use input/outputs on the first tab.
What TB and TPS are you using?

I think r11 is causing my issue but I found a few posts that said the voltage I was getting was working fine so it should be ok.

i didn't see a conflict but I was also getting tired and frustrated so I was probably overlooking it.

well you said this:

I always use INJ G for fan, and that's how my basemap should have been setup (not sure what map you got).
and to confirm: you are seeing the crank signal in the composite, just not the cam?

In composite logger it doesn't show anything but if you go to trigger logger it shows a trigger.

Got a known good MSQ from a buddy of mine, Loaded it up and the car fired up.
still didnt have cam signal and had a random stumble probably from sync error, tweaking of r11 fixed that and now have nice steady crank and cam signal.
