MS3 Wiring and TunerStudio Settings for MAC EBC on NB2 using MAF wiring
I've been searching for about 3 or 4 hours so I didn't have to post to ask, but I've come up donuts. I have an MS3PNP, DIYAutoTune Mac EBC. I found a wiring diagram for the NB2 MAF
I'm in tunderstudio and I was expecting to find MAF as an output option, but don't:
Best I can figure out is that other people have posted they need to take pins out of the ECU plugs and then pull them over to the options port, which the closest I can find is someone with 99 pin out pulling it over to R on the rear connector.
This all makes me wonder why I just didn't run my own wiring from the EBC to the ECU rear connection port to begin with? I also can't seem to figure out which pin was part of the MAF on the NB2: https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...cu_pinouts.pdf
Any clarification here would be amazing. I seem to not be able to find wherever someone posted the definitive guide to using one of these that it feels like everyone else found.

Actually i may have finally found the thread I've need: https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...wiring-107988/
Seems you can use 12V from the maf, then pull/cut pin 4X from the stock plugs (I didn't realize the pick in my previous post was referring to the ECU plug on the labels for each wire). Like the guy in the above thread, I'd rather not mess with the stock plugs and I'm just going to connect one wire from the EBC to 4AF and run my own wire back to the High Output 2 on the rear options port.

It's obnoxious, but yes, this is what you need to do. The real fix would be making the "pnp" ECU utilize all of the I/Os available in the engine bay, because wiring things to the NB ECU location hurts my soul, and my back.
Another fix would be someone who has more time on their hands then me finding a male/female ~6 pin connector so you could remove the pins, insert them in the connector, and have a mating set run to the options connector.
