Default MS3 Basic: Pinout / 2nd Fan wiring / Tunerstudio Outputs

I build a 1.9 VVT in my 92 1.6 Miata, controlled by a MsLabs MS3 Basic. I have the DB37 pinout which is helpful, but I'm missing an overview where to find the Tunerstudio output in hardware.

Currently I'm struggling with the 2nd fan. My car has an AC and therefore a 2nd fan, but only one AC relay (94 Miatas have two relays). I want to control the 2nd fan not only by AC, but also by water temperature to have better cooling under high load.
I added a 2nd relay and connected it to pin S2 in the main connector, according to Dimitri's statement.

According to this diagram I expected, that INJ G turns on the main fan and INJ F the second one. (Dimitri said, wire it like in a 94 Miata).
When I try that out in Tunerstudio (Testmode), INJ E and INJ F turns on the main fan and no other output turns on the second fan. The fan settings use INJ E as output and it obviously works, but that doesn't correspond with the diagram.

Anyone here who has an idea about that?

Is the a corresponding pinout for a 90-93 Miata that also shows all Tunerstudio outputs (also for the DB37)? That would be very helpful, not only for the fan issue.

Inj E switches on the main fan, Inj F switches on the A/C relay, Inj G switches on the A/C fan. Inj G is on pin 2S.

Note: Inj G also automagically activates the A/C fan out, so that if you also want to use the A/C fan as a cooling fan, you can program it in the programmable outputs using both coolant temp and RPM as conditions. This is already done in the basemap.

Inj E switches on the main fan.
Inj F also switches on the main fan.
On Inj G nothing happens.

Which pin is on Inj E and F? According to the 90-93 wiring diagram it should be E = pin 1R and F = pin 1J
Why does Inj F also switches the main fan? If I get it right, Inj F activates the AC relay and the relay has a connection to the cooling fan relay, so it ca also switch on the main fan.
If I get it right, Inj E and Inf F are working fine.

Yes, I saw that in the base map.
I added an additional relay to switch on the 2nd fan. I used 2S/Inj G to control the relay. Inj G should give +12V, is that correct?
In test mode, do I have to switch on Inj F and G to turn on the 2nd fan?

All outputs provide a ground, not 12V, just like the stock ECU. To switch on the second fan manually, enable just Inj G.

Oh, that should be my problem. So I have ground and switched ground on my relay and need to add 12V instead of ground.

Do you have an overview which output ends at which pin?

For all Basic MS3s:
All injectors = Inj A to D
Main Fan = Inj E
A/C Relay = Inj F
A/C Fan = Inj G
VICS/VTCS = Inj H (99-05)
All coils = Spark A to D
Battery light = Spark H
Alternator control = IAC2
VVT = VVT
EBC = Boost
Idle Valve = Idle
Fuel Pump = FPump

Obviously all these stock outputs go to the stock pin locations.

Thank you for the update.
I don't want to bug you, maybe take it like a improvement suggestion. I find it disappointing that the instructions that came with my MS3 Basic are, at least in my opinion, incomplete.
For example:
  • The jumper for sequential injection, it wasn't mentioned in the manual and i found the information here in this forum (BTW, great forum and great support - Dimitri also great support from your side!).
  • The table for the DB37 connector would be more helpful if you also include the Tunerstudio output names. In most cases it is obvious, but in some it would be helpful. (My engine check light is on output Nitro if I remember right)
  • I also missed detailed information for the main connector. E.g. pin I2 in the ECU is empty and therefore my tacho didn't work. Something like this for my 90-93 would be helpful:
You are dealing with all that stuff every day, but for a noob like me it was very frustrating and it took me hours and hours to figure out what's wrong. I'm pretty sure, most first-time-user of your ECU will have the same problem.

As I said, this is not against you, it's just an improvement...
