Unhappy Megasquirt 5K rpm issue

Alright so I have had this problem come and go. Cleaned up all the grounds, solved problem for a week and now it is back and only happens around 5K rpm. Pretty much under any load. Its a Diypnp for a 96 miata. I also have a log from idle and that is with the throttle floored to show my problem at the moment. I know it is losing sync but not quite sure why?
Thanks for all the help in advance!!!!!

post a screen shot of the issue in the logger so people don't have to open the file.

Definitely losing sync - can you get a composite log? That's the next step for pinning down RPM issues. I'd also like to see an MSQ.

I prefer the logs myself over screen shots.

How do I go about getting a composite log?

Have you tried using a different or serial cable? It solved my lost sync problems.

It's worth a shot. But it's been working like this for a couple months. It's just odd that I will have no problem for a couple days to a week an then this problem will come back to pop up throughout the day

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking/saying. I even started a few threads about my problems.

Do you have a Radio Shack local? They should have a cheap serial cable. That way you don't have to wait on shipping.

A new serial cable won't help you fix a sync loss.

Intermittent issues are normally caused by things like poor quality connections.

Any ideas on what connections to check Ben?
