Default MAF Fault CEL

Hey gang,

I removed the mass air flow sensor from my stock engine 91 and replaced it with a GM IAT I did this following Reverent's directions that came with the MS3 Basic. I have the sensor wired up like the one in this post http://www.miataturbo.net/megasquirt...34/#post347817

Upon start up I see this warning in TS.

Have any of y'all seen this issue before? The car runs fine and I'm doing a lot of VEAL trying to improve fuel economy, but this light is annoying and I'd like to clear it so if I should have any other issues I can be notified without delay.

Many Thanks,

Kick

Is this on my basemap? The MAF is disabled on the basemap and there's no check engine option for the MAF on firmware 1.4.0.

Yes, it's your basemap I've been iterating off of to tune my car. Could these two lights be unrelated?

Did you enable the MAF for some reason?

It's not outside the realm of that I enabled it while trying to set up the IAT sensor. Would a screenshot of the MAF settings page be of any help?
