Think about it. If your cutting 4 of 5 sparks that's basically 80% cut or on a wasted spark 40% if excess un burnt fuel in the exhaust manifold finds it's way into another chamber it will stop spark ignition further cutting ignition with more Unburnt fuel. Eventually your gunna flood and lockup. And this during flat shift high rpm / inertia changes risks engine damage
You need to look up what pin your clutch switch goes too. It should be the same as what Brain uses and I know he has posted it before. You can also find it by looking up the factory shop manual and looking at the harness diagram. You may have it wired incorrectly.
My MS is totaly different as Im running PNP2 with the 1.3 board. I was just asking if he had to do anything weird because of cruise control etc..
as far as DIYautotune folks see, nothings wrong with MS and everything is wired correctly.
I'm curious to know if anyone has used LC on a 1.6 before or not.
Your settings look ok overall. Do us all a favor though and never post a tune as CurrentTune give it a unique name. We all have files on our computer labeled CurrentTune and it makes people not want to download your file and help you out. Another thing you may want to check is your clutch switch. The one that is located at the top of the clutch. It may not be working at all. You could replace it on I'd imagine jump the plug with a wire to see if it activates LC.
Sorry about that. I can reload it with a different name.
On my car i have two switches. the first one has a brown/white wire and looks like it controls the cruise control and then one at the other end when the clutch is too the floor which im assuming is the starter interlock switch.
I also dont have a TPS since its a 1.6. I unplugged the top switch that went to the brown/white and jumped it and i still was unable to activate launch control. here is my msq/log file.
UPDATE!!!!:
If you have a 1.6 and are NOT using a vTPS you can set the calibrations for open/close to be 90 for close and 0 for open. You will get an error message about the values but accept them anyways. you will notice that your TPS always reads 100% but the MSPNP2 doesnt/cant read the values anyways. No additional sensors to unplug unless you dont want LC on while in neutral.

Reason: Fix for non VTPS 1.6 people
I just jack up the car, crawl under it and bare hug the trans till you feel two plugs. Ne sure not to disconnect the bullet shaped ones rather the squarish ones.
