Inverted/non-inverted spark?
I don't ever remember a conclusion to the discussion about settings. I know quite a few people are running inverted spark with kags mods without a problems and all the ms-pnp are using non-inverted setting. Just wondering if anyone ever figured it out? Granted I was running inverted spark without problems, but it is still a bit concerning.

spark needs to be inverted with the old way mods... nearly 3000miles now doesn't lie. i don't know why the MS pnp is different, but apparently it needs to be. and also the whole thing about the different wheel decoder settings leads me to believe that the MS Pnp .msq is not directly compatible with a board modified in the old way and vice versa.

If it aint broke, don't break it....
Tom I trust running inverted will be fine....Once I get yours I can make sure you have the same spark mod as me...I'm sure you do...I've been running inverted as well, no problems here.
I believe if your use the wheel decoder settings like the new MSPnP and DIY instructions, then you need non-inverted. (rising vs. falling)

Well I guess I can answer the question about inverted vs non-inverted.
I played around with DIY's PnP map 2 weeks ago. Maybe let it run for 45 seconds. Loaded up my MSQ and have actually daily drove my car for the last 2 weeks.
Today, after wiring up the shift light, I start the car to test it and it sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. I had messed with a plug wire earlier doing something else, so I replaced it. Still runs like crap, and dies.
All it does is turn over, fuel all over the sparkplugs = Fuel no spark = blown igniter.
I should have just left well enough alone :(

Kags mods = inverted spark output
DIYAutotune's mods, or the MSPNP = non-inverted spark output
