Injector test mode - 'All' works but not individual channels
Hi,
Recently bought a used MS2 (V3.0 board) that the previous owner built and gave up on trying to get working. I've previously built similar (about 12 years ago) and used with a 91 UK 1.6. I've now got a 91 Japanese 1.6 and want to use the MegaSquirt as the brains of a turbo conversion.
I'm testing the injector outputs, using the test mode in Tunerstudio, and I've plugged some spare injectors into the car, got them just resting loose on the fuel rail. When I set Injector Test Mode to 'All' then all four injectors audibly click, so I know they're working. When I set Injector Test Mode to 'One' and set 'Injector Channel to Test' to 'Inj1' or 'Inj2' or anything else I get nothing, not a click from any of them.
Is this normal, or is there something wrong with the injector driver circuit? Anyone got any clues?
