Default ID1000 data for Megasquirt from Injector Dynamics

I heard that Injector Dynamics had developed a data sheet for running the ID1000 injectors on Megasquirt. I sent them an email and got this today.

WITH small pulsewidths.

Try and let us know how it works.

There you go moving the goalposts on me. I feel like Charlie Brown with the football... Send them an email. If they have it we can post all the ID injector data in one thread and change the title.

Default ID725 Data from Injector Dynamics for Megasquirt

Here you go:
(By the way, it looks like the spreadsheet is editable and you enter your fuel pressure and it adjusts the data...)

I appreciate the props but honestly all I did was send an email. Lol

I am still waiting on data for ID2000s.

As a side note I may be doing a megasquirt build on a twin turbo 1967 mustang this winter/fall.

As part of the project I want to build an injector test bench so I can really dial in numbers for individual injectors. What other test equipment should I build?

The data is nice, for sure, and the car runs with the data. My idle is a little rough though at 950rpm at stoich. Need to see what isn't playing nice with the injectors.

There are so many variables I think it's difficult to blame any one. My expectation with having the "proper" data is that it eliminates one more possible failure point and allows me to go on troubleshoot other areas. For example, alternator voltage, battery calibration, etc.

You bring up a good point. Luckily I'm done cutting the hood so I'll have some time to tune tonight.

So, is this the data I need to correct the non-linear response of the 1000cc injectors? When I asked about it in my own thread I was told not to worry about the "non-linear small pulsewidth" settings and to just retune the whole map as needed.

You don't really NEED it, but it can't hurt. Just use the correct numbers for the amount of fuel flow you are utilizing. (3bar if still running OEM FPR)

Nice info. I did manage to unprotect the sheet and there are no calculations in there. It's all manually entered numbers FYI!

How did you manage to bypass the password? Lucky guess? :P

I came up with 1.260 (stock 60-65 PSI NB regulator) using the method posted on this forum for calculating injector dead time. It only takes a few minutes and then you have values that are correct for your setup.

Have an excel utility with brute force password option.

Opened up the excel sheet in numbers, and the password was removed. Just plain numbers and simple formulas from what I can tell, but this was a quick glance.
