Default Help with my tune please?

First off, I'm obviously new to Megasquirt. Here is where I'm at... 99 1.8l with FM 4.2 turbo kit, DW700cc injectors and MS diypnp built myself. After doing a lot of searching and reading, I've got it running to a drivable state. I know that it is currently running way too rich, just being safe til I'm more confident. I've already worked through a fair share of problems I didn't want to bother people with. Now I'm just looking for some feedback on any and all aspects of where I'm at. Also I have not autotuned this yet. I attached my msq and a short datalog.
Thanks in advance!

Without looking at the file I'd say autotune, get it close, then see what issues you have (running lean when you stab quickly at the throttle means you need to tune acceleration enrichment, lean/rich with changing temperature means you need to tune MAT correction table). I also recommend if you can grabbing a 32 gb SD card and setting up logging to it so you can pull logs and review both to compare (say compare a drive you took when it was really cold out vs a day that's hot ) and review issues you may have while not running data logging on a laptop.

Weather is supposed to be decent today. I'll try to autotune and post an updated msq and datalog this evening.

From a quick look you have a few things you should fix
1. Your AFR target table only goes to 100kPa.
2. Sort out closed-loop idle
3. Turn on overrun fuel cut
4. Adjust accel enrich TPSdot threshold

I forgot to adjust the scales when i last loaded that base map. Thanks for pointing that out! I've worked on closed loop a little with not much luck yet (starts and dies immediately). Do I need closed loop on a car that has no power options? I had overrun turned off because I was planning to autotune. I read somewhere to turn it off during. Are there ~typical~ settings for closed loop, overrun fuel cut, and AE? I haven't been able to find much on these.

You don't need closed-loop idle but it's good to have setup so that your idle remains constant under different conditions. There are quite a few threads explaining how to set it up. Set the TPSdot threshold as low as possible without it triggering when there is no throttle movement. Settings will vary from car to car.

I've uploaded an adjusted .msq file for you with closed-loop idle settings, new TPSdot threshold and a new AFR table. Settings probably won't be perfect but might give you a good starting point. Obviously check over it before using it ect.

Awesome! I'll look it over and try it out later today.

I loaded the updated msq and autotuned while driving for about 20 minutes (didn't have much time today). Took out a little fuel beforehand. I haven't had time to look over the dadalog I made after autotuning. Still rich on hard pulls and idle is still a little shaky, but atleast closed loop is working. Just needs tweeked. Does my timing table look ok? Here is the latest datalog and msq...
