Fan/Output4 always randomly blinking

Fan/Output4 always randomly blinking
Following up on this topic, I've narrowed down the problem to the ECU today.
When fan is supposed to be off, the Output4/FAN indicator on TunerStudio keeps blinking at random, and with it, the relay clicks as if it is momentarily turned on (but not long enough for the fan to even turn).
This keeps burning my relays and I'm really bummed out by this problem
Any clue as to what could be causing this? Maybe an earthing problem?
Also, if I set LED18 to Warmup instead of Output4 and set X2/JS0 to Fan Control (as it should, because this controls the fan properly), then it's the Fan/W.Inj indicator that keeps blinking. It only does it with the engine ON and the fan OFF:
ECU On, Engine Off, Fan Off - nothing happens
ECU On, Engine On, Fan Off - indicator blinks randomly and fan relay clicks
ECU On, Engine On, Fan On - fan turns normally
I have set my fan to turn on at 0ēC just so it runs all the time and does not burn any relays anymore. But I need this problem solved either way... Any ideas?

Thread from the dead, but I'm having issues similar to this. I've got a MSPNP9697, loaded with the most updated basetune supplied from diyautotunes website. The only setting changes I've made were to the fan, and to my base timing.
I'm sure that the problem is that the tacho output is on X2, JS0 which in the output settings is shared with water inj/fan. I've tried to use the different options in the tacho output settings (outputs 2-5, output 10, etc) but only X2 actually yields a working tach.
I know this has got to be a simple setting that's not right, and I've done a decent amount of searching and I can only find diagrams about actually making a tach circuit. I just don't want to fry something by poking my nose into settings that I shouldn't. Attached is a screenshot of my settings.
