EBC wiring using former MAF wires? Hunky-dory?
I'm adding DIY Autotune's EBC solenoid to my MS3'd '99/04 MSM project car and considering using the old MAF wiring for the EBC. It looks like I can reuse the existing switched-12v white/red for my 12v switched feed, and the light green/black for my MS3 connection, as it conveniently runs back to pin 2L on the old ECU plug where it would be a simple matter to cross connect it to my MS3 in the DIYBOB. Makes sense, right?
Anybody see any problems doing it this way?
Thanks in advance-

The only thing to watch for is electrical noise. The EBC solenoid is a coil that gets hit with a high-frequency signal to open and close. This could cause a fair bit of noise on the line that might show up elsewhere if the wires aren't shielded.
I'd do it and then monitor the logs for noise. No noise and you're good. If you see a bunch of noise, you know what to do.

that's not a worry, if 39.5Hz is high-frequency, man. And there's actually a shielded wire in the AFM connector; the one that goes to 2O.

On my '99 wiring diagram 2O is a pink/black wire that goes to the EGR. I have three wires to the MAF/AFM; the white/red which brings 12v from the main relay, the light green/black which goes to 2L on the ECU connector, and a black/blue ground.
