DIYPNP losing sync entering idle
A friend built a DIYPNP and installed in his pretty much stock NA6.It works quite well, but there are two odd issues, probbaly unrelated.
Issue 1: MS loses synch when entering idle condition. This is fairly reproducible and can be provoked by blipping the throttle, but it also happens coasting to a stop.
Lost synch
No lost synch
If we'd be losing synch at high rpm, I would suspect the sensitivity of one of the input circuits. But it only seems to happen when entering idle conditions.
Issue 2: Sticky idle:
Sometimes idle sticks at 1100 o 1200 rpm, even though CL idle is commanding the idle valve to close completely.
Then blip the throttle and idle settles down nicely- at a higher IAC valve setting. What the deuce?
