DIYPNP, Idle Droop w/ Headlights
The DIYPNP with JasonC's alternator circuit is working great, great starting, great idle at 1K.
Only thing I have noticed is that when driving with headlights on, when putting in clutch after an acceleration, the idle dips down to 500rpm for a couple seconds then recovers. It recovers better when the car is warm.
It hasn't stalled yet, perhaps because I am "heel toeing" it to keep revs up. It doesnt' happen when clutching after crusing in 5th at low rpm.
The alternator control cicuit has to be working and the voltage is steady at 14.1-14.2.
Is this a known issue and is the solution to add a headlight input to the "AC Idle up" circuit?
