DIY MS3X Connection Issues
So I did some bench testing with my MS3x and jimstim last night to verify everything was working correctly. I loaded the firmware 1.4.1 from trubokitty and was able to get MAT, CLT, TPS, O2, and RPM all to function properly in tuner studio. Today I went to install the ecu into the car and now I am getting no signal in tuner studio. My PC is picking up the controller in device manager and I have it assigned to COM1. I tried to reload the firmware and the .exe wont find my ms anymore.
I put a multi meter on the correct pins on my db37 connectors to ensure the harness was correct and I confirmed that its getting power. Pretty suck right now, thinking there might be some electrical interference with my wideband? AEM uego that I have grounded to the back of the block. I installed this today also at the same time as the MS and have noticed the gauge itself is making a buzzing noise. So maybe a bad ground? Could this cause the issue I'm having? Thanks
