Default A Different way to route controller wiring.

Hounded this forum for a long time and learned alot. This particular question i just cant seem to find the answer to.

I see that the red/yellow charcoal evap purge solenoid wiring goes back into the ecu wiring as and output. Was wondering if it can be hijacked and utilized as an output for my boost control solenoid?

Rather new to megasquirt/TS and this is confusing me. If this wire is still able to be used and an output from the MS3PNPPRO, how would i go about setting that up in Tunerstudio?
I'd imagine that it would be through a generic PWM, but if im honest i dont even understand how it all works.

Any videos/posts/articles containing information is greatly appreciated.

kraken bw6258 kit (trying my best at) utilizing the provided BW boost controller

Thank you.

While it does go back to the ECU plugs, the mspnp pro doesn't have an output wired to that pin. Check your pinout at the bottom of this document:

https://www.megasquirtpnp.com/docs/m....php?isModel=1

Note that DIY numbers them differently than OE, so 2X on the OE diagram is 4X on DIY's pinout, and it's labeled as "N/C", or no connection.

What you can do, is remove the yellow/red wire from "4"X, and move it to an output like 2L, 2I, or 3J, which is High Current 2, PWM3, and High Current 1, respectively. Which are all outputs that you should be able to select under boost control settings. I'm sure there are a number of other options too, but there's 3 for now.

Now theres an idea, gonna grab a depin kit from amazon and see if i can swap some wires around in the harness at the ECU connection.

I appreciate that a bunch. Gonna see how long this stock block can take 9-10 psi on this 6258.
